Want to build your stamp collection, but can’t have a workshop right now?

Join a Hostess Club

Here’s how it works:

I will give you a Stampin’ Up! Idea Book & Catalog for FREE (retail value is $9.95) and you agree to place a $30 order per month until everyone in the group has been the “hostess”. With 5 people in the club*, you will be the “hostess” once in a given year. When it’s your month to be “hostess,” you earn hostess benefits starting at $150 in sales – so when each of the 5 people places a $30 order, that month’s hostess will earn at least $15 of free merchandise AND a hostess set! The amount of free merchandise goes up if the total workshop amount goes up!
Just think . . . you can earn hostess benefits just by spending $30 a month!
*Don’t worry if you don’t know 9 other people interested in joining a club.
I will create a club once I have 10 interested people!

Each month, participants will meet at my home to create a project and place orders, or you can email or phone your order in by the 15th of each month….
It’s that simple!

Please contact Andrea Mason to join a club today!

**This plan can be adapted to the number of people if you choose.
For example, 10 people can agree to spend $15 per month and receive the same benefits.

Mmmm... More chocolate!

Here are a few more tins that will be available at a November craft fair. Thank goodness the craft fair is inside - otherwise all this chocolate would melt - even in November, Arizona weather is not chocolate friendly!

The teacher tin at the top was done by my crafty buddy Suz. Check out her blogs (the links are to the right)!

Here are a few more tins that will be available at an upcoming craft fair!

These beauties are clear glass Christmas ornaments. I cut transparency sheets using my Cricut to cut 3" circles from the George cartridge. I then used Stazon ink to stamp an image. After allowing the image to dry for a few minutes, I turned the transparency over and used Sharpie markers to color the image. These two ornaments have 2 transparency sheets in them. The lighthouse has the Footprints verse in front of it. The truck has the trees behind it. To get the transparency into the ornament, I rolled the image into a tube and dropped it into the opening of the ornament. I added sand and shells to the lighthouse ornament, and shaved Styrofoam for a snow effect in the truck ornament. Tie a ribbon onto the top, and you have a great gift for anyone!

Countdown to Christmas

Like my Christmas tree? It's just a reminder of how many days you have left before Christmas. Not sure what to get your friends and family this year? I have a lot of ideas to share with you.

How about handstamped cards for family and friends? Perhaps they would enjoy a candle or two that matches their home decor? Tile coasters are a nice choice. Glass ornaments will be treasured too.

Not sure what to choose? How about a Stampin' Up! gift certificate?

What better time to gather friends, have a little party, and get FREE stuff? Free stuff that you can keep for yourself, or give as a great gift! Call or email me today to book your own workshop! Your place or mine, either is fine with me! Don't have time to get together? You can host a catalog party or even a virtual party.

It's like being a pumpkin!

A small child had recently been baptized.
One of her classmates asked her what it was like to be Christian.
She was caught off guard and didn't know how to answer
when she looked up and saw a jack-o-lantern on the desk.
She answered, "It's like being a pumpkin"
Her classmates asked her to explain that!
"Well, God picks you from the patch
and brings you in and washes off all the dirt on the outside
that you got from being around all the other pumpkins.
Then he cuts off the top
and takes all the yucky stuff out from inside.
He removes all the seeds of doubt, hate, greed,
and all those other bad things.
Then he carves you a new smiley face
and puts his light inside of you to shine for all to see!
It is our choice to either stay outside and rot on the vine
or come inside and be something new and bright!"

Build A Brad will be available this Friday!

Build-A-Brad Available October 5, 2007!
Find Build-A-Brad on page 189 of the Fall-Winter Collection 2007.

We've Resolved the Quality Issues
We appreciate your patience in waiting for us to resolve issues with this product. We worked with the manufacturer and have finally accepted a replacement product that meets our rigorous quality standards. If you order Antique Brass Build-A-Brad (item 109108), you may notice tiny pieces of grain (rice shells) in the tin. Our manufacturer uses this grain during the unique finishing process. This grain does not pose any safety issues. Be assured that the manufacturer goes to great lengths to remove all visible grain inside the kits. However, now and then, you may see some grain stuck under the prongs of the brad bases. Feel free to remove them.

New Badge

I got a new badge on my blog today! You can have one too! All you have to do is click on my badge and then select one of the seven different types of Cancer Awareness badge that you'd like. Copy the HTML to your own blog. For each one that is added to a blog, the number shown on the badge increases!

I think we've all been affected by cancer at some point in our lives. Friends, family, students, and co-workers of mine have all been affected by the disease. Cancer does not discriminate against healthy, sick, rich, poor, adults, or children. It doesn't know our nationality or our personality. It can rear it's ugly head at any time. Please take care of yourself, your family, and your friends and get regular check-ups and physicals with your doctor. It could save a life.
